"GREEN x EXPO 2027" special photo spot
On the first floor of the ward office, a special photo spot for "GREEN x EXPO 2027" with motifs of flowers and greenery will be set up. Let's take a commemorative photo together with the permanent Nashika-chan photo spot at the ward office!
Introduction of attractive spots in Aoba Ward "Aoba Flower, Greenery and Agriculture Tour Map"
In March 2024, we published a booklet introducing attractive spots such as flower and green attractions in Aoba Ward, direct sales outlets for vegetables and fruits, and Yokohama local production and local consumption support shops.
There are plenty of related columns, such as station information on the share cycle and introduction of "GREEN x EXPO 2027"! It is a book packed with charms related to flowers, greenery and agriculture. It will be distributed on the day, so why don't you go around Aoba Ward for your hand?

Clean energy from Aoba Ward! Exhibition of Perovskite Solar Cells
Perovskite solar cells
Renewable energy that utilizes the power of nature. One of them is the Perovskite Solar Cell, which was invented by Professor Riki Miyasaka of Toin University of Yokohama in Aoba Ward.
Compared to conventional silicon solar cells, it has the characteristics of thinner, lighter, and bendable, and is widely used, and is expected to be a technology that greatly contributes to the realization of a decarbonized society. On the day, we will run a model railway using perovskite solar cells!
Seasonal cut flowers & "GREEN x EXPO 2027" novelty will be presented (limited quantity)
Those who answered the "Questionnaire on Familiar Greens" will receive a seasonal cut flower and a "GREEN x EXPO 2027" novelty (limited quantity).

In February 2024, the Post Office in Aoba Ward and Aoba Ward signed a comprehensive partnership agreement aimed at improving residents' services and solving regional issues. Based on this agreement, postal vehicles and motorcycles running in the city are currently affixed with a well-known sticker for "GREEN x EXPO 2027" and "30th anniversary of Aoba ward organization".
As part of the efforts of this agreement, we have reused waste materials from wooden containers at the post office and produced a flower bed signboard that promotes "GREEN x EXPO 2027". Waste materials are also reused as planters at Aobadai Elementary School.
At 13:30 on Tuesday, March 19, a ceremony was held at Aobadai Post Office by Aobadai Ekimae Post Office Chief, Ichigao Ekimae Post Office Chief, Yokohama Kamoshida Post Office Chief and Mayor Aoba. Was.
Later, the flower beds at all post offices (23 stations) in Aoba Ward will be displayed sequentially. Please take a look when you visit the post office.

Aoba Ward mascot character "Naka-chan" loved by everyone in Aoba Ward.
With the launch of GREEN × EXPO 2027, we decided to produce the “Nanaka-chan GREEN × EXPO 2027 Version” to promote the lush greenery of Aoba Ward. Nanaka-chan's new design will be commissioned to Yokohama University of Fine Arts, which has concluded a partnership agreement with Aoba Ward.
The completed version will be unveiled at the event 1,000 days before the "GREEN x EXPO 2027" to be held in June this year. Please look forward to it!
