[All schedule has been completed] FY2023 “E-Sports Utilization Study for Promoting Social Participation of Elderly People”
Aoba Ward is a relatively young population in the city, but the number of elderly people is expected to increase rapidly in the future. It is also important to increase the number of elderly people who participate in community gathering places in order to create an area where they can live a fulfilling and personal life. Therefore, as a business to expand the possibilities of commuting places, we will proceed with studies to promote social participation of the elderly in society using e-sports. e-sports uses computer games, and anyone can enjoy casually regardless of physical function or gender differences, so we will consider it based on the perspective of creating new connections in the community.

[All schedule has been completed] We are looking for participation groups to participate in e-sports experience sessions.
We will have you actually experience e-sports, and after the experience, we will hold a hands-on session to ask opinions such as the impression of e-sports and whether you want to continue doing it.

※e-sports is a term that refers to entertainment, competition, and sports performed using electronic devices. Here, it refers to games using electronic devices that everyone can enjoy in public places during the day.

Date and time: Tuesday, September 12, 2023 From 14:00 to 16:00
Location: Aoba Ward Office 1st floor inhabitant of a ward activity support center
Target groups:
①Local activities groups (elderly clubs, Neighborhood Association, etc.)
②Business operators (operators that can provide a place for activities)
Offering frame: 10 groups (approximately 2 people per group, up to 20 people)
Belongings: I don't have it. Please come in everyday clothes.
