In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Tsurumi Ward administration, this name was decided in October 1997 by public recruitment of inhabitants of a ward.
It is a straight road with a length of 920 meters and a width of 36 meters from Shio-Tsuruhashi to Tsurumi Industrial Road, and the old name "36 U.S. Road" was given from the width of the road.
The cherry blossom blizzard in spring, and the red salvia, which the locals have carefully bloomed from summer to autumn, will soothe your heart.

A local line in the city with a total length of only 9.7 km. It started as a freight line in 1926 (1926). Passenger transportation began in 1930 (1930), bringing a large number of commuters along with the development of the Keihin Industrial Zone.
Except during the morning and evening rush hours, the service runs about three times a hour, and there are fewer holidays. The chocolate-colored train "Kumoha Type 12", which has been running for 66 years and has been loved as a symbol of the Tsurumi Line, retired in 1996.
The quaint Kokudo Station and Umishibaura Station, which is closest to the sea in Japan, are a good location that often appears in movies and television.
