Announcement and recruitment of the 90th anniversary project of Tsurumi Ward System

To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the constituency system, we recruited posters for "Tsurumi Ward 20 Years Later" to make Tsurumi Ward more attractive and energetic!
We are pleased to announce that the exhibition schedule for the award-winning works and posters has been decided.

<Poster Exhibition Schedule>
Due to a large number of applications, the exhibition will be divided into two periods for each school and will be held next to Lyon Square on the 2nd floor of the North Building of Tressa Yokohama (Address: 700, Shiokacho, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama, business hours: 10:00 to 21:00, all year round).
※The exhibition will display all the works submitted.
※The 6 prize-winning works will be exhibited throughout the year.
※13 "Design Manholes" (with the cooperation of Yako Junior High School, Yako Elementary School, and Shin-Tsurumi Elementary School), which were separately implemented as part of the 90th anniversary project of the constituency system, will also be exhibited throughout the year.

Phase 1: From Wednesday, October 25 to Monday, October 30
Market Junior High School, Namamugi Junior High School, Yako Junior High School, Tachibana Gakuen Junior High School, Market Elementary School, Kamisueyoshi Elementary School, Higashidai Elementary School, Yako Elementary School, Prefectural Tsurumi School for the Disabled.

Phase 2: From Wednesday, November 1 to Sunday, November 5
Asahi Elementary School, Kami-Terao Elementary School, Kishiya Elementary School, Komaoka Elementary School, Shishigaya Elementary School, Sueyoshi Elementary School, Tsurumi Elementary School, Terao Elementary School, Toyooka Elementary School, Namamugi Elementary School, Heian Elementary School.

・Number of posters submitted: 1,119 sheets (584 sheets in lower grades, 480 sheets in upper grades, 54 sheets in junior high school, 1 other (prefectural school high school students))
・Examination Committee: Preliminary screening was conducted on Wednesday, August 9, and final screening was conducted on Monday, August 28.
・Judge: He served as a member of the Tsurumi Ward Elementary and Junior High School Principal Association, the Tsurumi Ward Elementary School Art Study Group, the Tsurumi Ward Junior High School Art Study Group, and the Executive Committee for the 90th Anniversary of the Tsurumi Ward System.

●Commendation
Prize-winning works will be awarded as well as the “City Planning Master Plan Tsurumi Ward Plan” ※It is scheduled to be published in FY2018.

As a project to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Tsurumi Ward System, "Tsurumi Highlights 90" was selected based on the current "Tsurumi Highlights 80".

We recruited a wide range of photographs of Tsurumi Ward's "old streets" and started a project to use them for business in the city! 。 The project will be used for the 90th anniversary of the Tsurumi Ward System and the public relations business of the ward, aiming to discover local attractions and promote the Tsurumi Ward.

To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the constituency, a frame stamp studded with the highlights of the ward taken by photographer Nobuyuki Wakabayashi will be released. It is limited in quantity, so purchase as soon as possible!
