The bear of Gozaemon died, and the white bear of Chuzaemon (not the arctic bear, but the white bear of the moon ring bear) was gaining popularity, but this bear was suddenly released on April 26, 1828 (1828). I offered to the town to kill it because it was dangerous.
On the same day, people from the town gathered and tied the white bear to iron classes with manguwa, Tobiguchi, bamboo tarts, and thrusts, and made people away from bears. On the other hand, he went to Ushikubo-mura (currently Ushikubo-cho, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama) and asked him to kill the bear with a gun. For I thought I would be sorry if I could kill and escape, disturb the nearby villages and let them get injured. It was supposed to be a hand to shoot the gun for caution, but could be killed without use.
