Smart Consumer Life Promotion Business

I shop, cook and eat. Use your smartphone and enjoy traveling. "Consumer life" is a human life itself, but it is actually familiar but it is not understood ...
Due to major changes in the economic environment surrounding consumers, the content of products and services have become complicated, causing various consumer problems. In addition, with aging, damage by malicious business law targeting elderly people is increasing year by year in ward.
In order to live a safe and comfortable “consumer life”, it is necessary to be aware of what is consumer trouble and to deal with it appropriately.
In Yokohama-shi, based on "Yokohama-shi consumer life regulations", we hold enlightenment lecture and publication of information magazine, holding panel exhibition for the purpose of supporting safe and comfortable consumer life of local everybody Through this, we commission "consumer life promotion member" to spread knowledge about consumer life to local everybody.
In Totsuka Ward, about 160 people in the ward (the number of promotion members in the second year of Reiwa) are active in their respective districts as consumer leaders.
※District = In principle, the same as the Union Neighborhood Associations
※The term of office is 2 years (up to 6 years)

Activities in Totsuka Ward

In the second year of Reiwa, in the ward activities conducted by representatives and deputy representatives of each district, the priority themes were to prevent malicious business law and reduce food loss.

  • Holding lectures on prevention of malicious business law
  • Tour of consumer-related facilities
  • Exhibit at Tozuka Fureai Residents' Festival
  • Totsuka Ward Consumer Life Exhibition
  • Watching activities and educational activities in each district
