Can I get a certificate of the physically disabled?
A

Based on medical certificate of designated doctor, we certify whether we correspond to physical disability in Yokohama-shi rehabilitation consultation center based on medical certificate of designated doctor. First of all, please consult with the ward office Elderly and Disabled Support Division (for those under 18 years old, ward office Children and Families Support Division) as confirmation of designated doctor is required.

I'm going to Psychiatry. Will the cost of medical expenses be reduced?
A

For those who are going to the hospital for diseases in the Psychiatry area (schizophrenia, depression, epilepsy, etc.), there is a self-support medical care system that reduces the out-of-pocket expenses of medical expenses to 10%. The prescribed medical certificate (available at the ward office Elderly and Disabled Support Division) is required.

What is the adult guardianship system?
A

This system protects people with insufficient judgment skills due to intellectual disability or mental illness, and provides support such as property management and contracts necessary for the individual.
The adult guardianship system includes a statutory guardianship system and a voluntary guardianship system. The statutory guardianship system is divided into three categories: "guardianship", "hossa", and "assistant", so that the system can be selected according to the circumstances of the individual, such as the degree of judgment ability.
