Yokohama City has concluded an agreement on friendly exchanges with Doshi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture and Showa Village, Gunma Prefecture, and has been conducting various projects to expand the circle of exchange.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the conclusion of the agreement with Michishi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture and the 10th anniversary of the conclusion of the agreement with Showa Village, Gunma Prefecture, a commemorative ceremony was held at the City Hall Atrium, and Mr. Suzuki attended.
Mr. Suzuki, on behalf of Yokohama City Council, celebrated the milestone year, and prayed that this ceremony would further deepen ties between the two villages and lead to further exchanges.

The Yokohama Port Opening Ceremony was held in Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, attended by Chairman Suzuki and Vice Chair Fukushima.
Yokohama City holds the opening ceremony as a place to pay tribute to the history of the port and the achievements of its predecessors, and wish for the further development of Yokohama.
Mr. Suzuki, on behalf of Yokohama City Council, stated that he would like to learn from the efforts and attitudes of our predecessors and continue to create Yokohama, which is full of charm and vitality.
