Yokohama City has concluded an agreement on friendship exchange with Michishi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture and Showa Village, Gunma Prefecture, and has been engaged in various projects to expand the circle of exchange. .
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the conclusion of the agreement with Michishi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture and the 10th anniversary of the conclusion of the agreement with Showa Village, Gunma Prefecture, a commemorative ceremony was held at the City Hall Atrium, and Chairman Suzuki attended.
Mr. Suzuki, on behalf of Yokohama City Council, celebrated the milestone year, and hoped that this ceremony would further deepen ties with the two villages and lead to further exchanges.

The opening ceremony of Yokohama Port was held in Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, attended by Chairman Suzuki and Vice-Chair Fukushima.
In Yokohama City, the opening ceremony is held as a place to honor the history of the port and the achievements of its predecessors, and wish for further development of Yokohama.
Mr. Suzuki spoke on behalf of Yokohama City Council, and stated that he would like to learn from the efforts and attitudes of our predecessors and continue to create an attractive and vibrant Yokohama.
