We are carrying out systematic maintenance of roads.
Public Works Office manages public roads, excluding highways and national roads in the ward. In order to ensure safe, smooth and comfortable traffic for users, we maintain and maintain roads related to roads.

About road self-financing construction (road law Article 24 application)
What is road self-financing construction?
When person except road manager performs construction or maintenance about road, it must receive approval and perform construction.
The cost required for this construction, etc. must be borne by the person who has been approved, so it is called self-financing construction.
The application and consultation desk in Naka Ward is Public Works Office.
Application for main road self-financing construction
・Decrease of sidewalks, gutters, curbs, etc. for vehicle entry
・Relocation or removal of vehicle stoppers and tree-planting basins
・Relocation of curved mirrors, street trees, etc. (Please consult with NTT for telegraph poles and Tokyo Electric Power for telephone poles)
・Decrease for location designated roads
・Repair and restoration of pavement damaged by construction work
・Road maintenance associated with development and residential land development
・In addition, when changing the form of road structures (guardrails, crossing prevention fences, etc.) and road facilities
Procedure for self-financing construction
※If there is no person in charge of self-financing construction due to on-site surveys, etc., you may be asked to come back again, so please make a reservation before visiting.
１．Submission of application

※The standard processing period is 30 days from the submission of the application form to the issuance of the approval letter, so please consult us as soon as possible.
