Senior Club (Senior Club)
Senior Clubs (Senior Club) is a voluntary organization for people aged 60 and over and is based on familiar areas (approximately Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations). The activities vary depending on the club, but we are working to make friends with community development and friends by making use of the experience and knowledge they have cultivated so far, such as fun activities such as circles that enrich their lives and social activities that enrich the community. There are 52 clubs and about 3,500 people in Naka Ward. (As of April 1, 2023)

About joining a geriatrics club
If you would like to join a geriatrics club, please contact your local geriatrics club directly.
If you do not know the contact information of the geriatrics club in your area, please contact the Naka Ward Geriatric Club Federation. I would like to introduce a senior citizen club in your area.

Activities of Senior Citizens' Clubs
Each club carries out elaborate activities such as walking, ground golf, bowling, cultural activities such as karaoke, knitting and handicrafts, healthy mahjong, and friendship, beautification, cleaning, anti-crime program, and watching activities. (The activities vary depending on the club.)
In addition, members who are active in different clubs on a daily basis are working together at athletic meet and bus trips organized by the Federation of Naka Ward Senior Citizens' Clubs Association, which announces the results of daily activities at each club.

Initiatives to support senior citizen clubs in Naka Ward
Naka Ward is co-hosted by the Federation of Senior Citizens' Clubs in various projects organized by the Federation of Naka Ward Senior Citizens' Clubs.
Ground golf tournament
Members of the senior citizen clubs in Naka Ward meet together to demonstrate the results of their daily practice and compete in their skills.
Under the blue sky, cheers and regrets echoes, and we are engaged in ground golf as part of health promotion while having fun.
Contact athletic meet
Members of the Geriatric Club in Naka Ward gather and perform various competitions.
We started in a peaceful atmosphere, such as conducting radio exercises with all participants as preparatory exercises, but once the competition started, everyone returned to their childhood, aiming for the first place in each competition, and enjoyed moving their bodies. did.
In addition, there are figures of friends supporting each other, and it has become established as an event where the bonds between friends deepens.
Elderly welfare tournament
Part 1 mainly focuses on awards to those who have served as chairman of the senior citizen club for many years, and the second part of a place to announce the results of activities that are regularly practiced at each club, such as chorus, dance, dance, dance, etc. It is implemented in two parts.
Contact exhibition
This is an exhibition that displays works created through the activities of each club.
Works in various fields such as handicrafts, paintings, photographs, and books are on display.
