Roads and waterways in the event of a disaster

When a heavy rain warning or heavy snow warning is issued, the necessary personnel will be immediately convened and the emergency deployment system.
Roads and waterways will be carried out by the Public Works Office in cooperation with related organizations. In the event of an emergency, the Public Works Office will implement emergency restoration of roads and rivers, as well as traffic restrictions at dangerous locations.
The main tasks at the time of emergency deployment are as follows.
1.Understand weather conditions
2.Water level and rainfall observation
3.Patrol of major arterial roads and dangerous areas
4.Assessment of damage situation
5.Inspection and transportation of flood control materials and equipment
6.Implementation of emergency restoration work
