He started wheelchair basketball at the age of 13 and debuted in the U23 Japan representative in the second year of high school.
At the 2017 U23 World Championship, he contributed to Japan's top four advancements as captain, and he himself was selected as the All Star 5. He won a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, which represented Japan.
In addition to his activities as a player, he also strives to spread lectures and competitions, travels around Japan, and actively receives media coverage.
