I gave a greeting at the opening ceremony of the Yokohama Disaster Prevention Fair 2024 held at the event square in Akarengasoko.
At the venue, disaster prevention related organizations and private businesses were encouraged to raise awareness of disaster prevention through cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED experience booths, exhibition of rainfall experience vehicles that can experience heavy rain of typhoons, and introduction of disaster prevention initiatives. .
Based on lessons learned from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, Yokohama City is currently promoting the installation of seismic breakers and furniture fall prevention equipment. Going forward, we will continue to implement further disaster prevention measures in cooperation with various related organizations.
