Ambassador Ahamed Shaffra, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Japan, was invited to Mayor's Residence.
Yokohama City and Tunisia have deepened their relationships in various fields, including the exchange of children at elementary schools in the city and co-hosting the event "Tunisia Day" to showcase the appeal of Tunisia. The participants also exchanged views on cooperation for the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) to be held in Yokohama in August 2025.
Going forward, we will continue to deepen our cooperation with the people of African countries.
