Ipo Borie Digile Ulfran, the next ambassador of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire to Japan, was invited to Mayor's Residence to talk.
In 2017, Yokohama City announced the Joint Statement of Exchange Cooperation with Abijan Autonomous Region, the largest city in Côte d'Ivoire, and has been interacting in various fields. In August 2025, the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) will be held in Yokohama.
We exchanged opinions on the good relationship between Côte d'Ivoire and Yokohama City in the future, and explained the significance of "GREEN x EXPO 2027".
Going forward, we will continue to deepen our cooperation with people in African countries.
