Mr. Ryosuke Kozuki, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and Deputy Minister of the Environment Tetsuya Yagi, as chairman of the Zero Carbon Municipal Council, in which 238 municipalities nationwide participate.
It is important that municipalities with different sizes and regional characteristics make joint proposals to the government to expand decarbonization efforts nationwide. I feel that both Deputy Ministers listened enthusiastically to the proposals and understood the efforts of municipalities.
