We held a ceremony for the completion of the sewage reclaim phosphorus recovery facility constructed in Hokubu Sludge Treatment Plant, Tsurumi Ward, together with our joint venture, Tsukishima JFE Aqua Solutions Co., Ltd.
Lin, a raw material for fertilizer, relies on imports for almost all of them, making it an issue in the stable supply of fertilizers in Japan. If phosphorus contained in sewage can be efficiently recovered and returned to farmland as fertilizer raw material, it will lead to solving problems. In the future, we will do our utmost to ensure that you can pick up the fertilizers from Yokohama, which contains recovered phosphorus.
