We held meeting of "Yokohama-shi self-government study group" which is affiliated organization of city and consulted about various issues for legislation of special city and correspondence measures.
The special municipal system is a new local autonomy system that allows large cities to fully demonstrate their power, but at present, there is no law that defines the system and there is no option to choose a special city.
We would like the teachers of the committee to have a lively discussion and to have specific proposals to stimulate the discussion of special city legislation in the country.
