In addition to municipal buses, buses of private businesses operate in Yokohama City.

Some buses are wrapped with advertisements on the entire surface, but the front is municipal bus color except for some vehicles.

Display of destination

There is a destination display (direction curtain) along with the system number next to the front and rear surface of the vehicle and the entrance.
Not all bus stops that stop will be displayed, so if you are not sure, ask the crew when boarding.

In-vehicle display

Inside the car, the next stop will be displayed on the display device in front of the car.
In addition, there is an out-of-vehicle broadcasting speaker next to the bus boarding door. Here, we provide information on destinations via automatic voice broadcasting.

How to get on board

It is a fare advance payment method with "After getting off in advance".
Please wait in line at the bus stop.
Multiple buses depart and arrive on a single ride pole.
Please be careful not to make a mistake.

Adult: Cash, IC 220 yen, Children: It is a flat fare of cash and IC 110 yen.

If you pay for one 500 yen coin and two 10 yen coins, please insert two 10 yen coins first.
(If you put the 500 yen coin first, you will get a change of 280 yen.)

In addition to PASMO / Suica, you can use transportation IC cards that are mutually used nationwide.
Touch the IC card reader firmly. The fare will be automatically deducted.
For smooth operation of the bus, please cooperate with the charge before boarding as much as possible.

1-day tickets sold on the bus are only IC and mobile. Please offer to purchase in the car and touch after the crew has set it.

You can charge PASMO and Suica even in the bus. Please inform the crew of the amount to charge.
You can only charge the amount according to the type of banknote. (Example: only 1,000 yen bills are available for 1,000 yen bills, and only 2,000 yen bills are available for 2,000 yen bills.)
After making the request, if the screen becomes as shown in the figure above, place the IC card in the reading section and put the banknote in the insertion slot.
For smooth operation, please charge at stations, convenience stores, supermarkets, etc. before getting on the bus.

1-day paper tickets, commuter passes, etc.

Please show it to the crew clearly.
※A one-day ticket with no date will be kept by the crew and the date will be indicated.

A little note

If you stand in front of the toll box and start searching for your wallet from your bag or pocket for the first time, you will be in a hurry.
If you prepare a fare from your wallet while waiting for the bus, you can get on with plenty of time.

When you have a problem or something you don't understand

For safe driving, please stop while waiting for traffic lights as much as possible.

Turn off the power of devices that emit radio waves, such as smartphones, when crowded near priority seats. In other places, please set the manner mode and refrain from calling. In addition, please use earphones etc. for sound and take care of sound leakage.
Also, please refrain from operating your smartphone as it is dangerous when you are standing.
※Congestion refers to cases where the customer's body is crowded enough to interact with each other.

Items that can be brought into the car

According to the terms of transportation, handbags can be brought into the car with a weight of 30 kg, a volume of 0.25 cubic meters or less, and a length of 2 meters or less. In addition, items with wheels such as bicycles, kickboards, skateboards, striders, trolleys, etc. can be brought in if they are dismantled or folded and stored in a special bag etc. Is possible.
However, even if the above conditions are met, we ask that you give consideration to other customers.
At the same time, please note that depending on the congestion situation inside the car, boarding may be refused at the discretion of the crew.

About bringing pets into the car

Pet case

Small pet animals, such as small dogs and cats, can be brought in only if they are in a complete case.
※Guide dogs and service dogs can be boarded as they are.

Pet cart

You can also bring it in a cart type case.
However, if the crew determines that the safety of the customer is not possible, such as when the inside of the car is crowded, boarding may be refused.

※Pet heads and feet cannot be brought in if the pet's head or feet are outside the container.
In addition, pet slings can not be brought in with a lid.

Others

The manners inside the car are the same as the bus that you usually use.
