How to ride in a stroller
Last Updated April 1, 2023
You can use the "municipal bus" even if you leave your child on the stroller.
When riding with your child on a stroller
1. First, tell the crew, "I will ride as it is (open)."
※If you can not get on from the front depending on the vehicle type, please get on from the middle door (disembark door).
2. Place the stroller backwards at the designated location in the car to the direction of travel.
※Put the baby carriage seat belt on your child and use a wheel stopper.
3. Please fix the stroller by yourself using the belt provided in the seat.
4. For safety, be sure to support the stroller while driving.
For information on how to use the belt, please refer to the PDF on how to fix the stroller.

Depending on the situation, we may ask you to fold the stroller on board.
In the following cases, we may ask you to fold the stroller and board. Thank you for your cooperation.
- When the inside of the car is crowded
- When it cannot be fixed with a belt
- When a passenger using a wheelchair or two-seater stroller is on board and cannot be fixed with a stroller fixed belt.
- A size that cannot secure a passage
- If two fixed belts for strollers have already been used (up to one may be used depending on the model)
※If you wish to use the service, the crew will ask the passengers in the car to cooperate so that they can sit as much as possible. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
You can use the municipal bus with your child on a two-seater stroller.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has decided to summarize the use of two-seater strollers on shared buses and to handle them so that they can be used without folding them.
In response to this, the handling of municipal buses will be changed so that you can get on the bus with your child on a two-seater stroller on all routes.
※For the summary of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's use of two-seater strollers on shared buses, please see the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's "Council on Child-Friendly Movement" page.

Please check your child's seat belt again before getting on the bus.
Get on from the middle door (get off door). (Small cars get on from the front door.)
If you need assistance, please tell the crew.
Please lift the tires in front of the stroller and board.
The crew folds the seat in the wheelchair fixed area. Please stop the stroller in the direction of travel and fix the tires yourself.
Use two belts to fix the vehicle and the stroller.
One belt is provided in the seat. The other one will be given by the crew.
Parents should support the stroller by hand.
Depending on the situation, you may not be able to board with the two-seater stroller open.
In the following cases, it cannot be used because safety cannot be ensured. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- If you already have two wheelchairs or two-seater strollers (it may be up to one depending on the type of vehicle.)
- When the inside of the car is crowded
- A size that exceeds the width of the door
- Vehicles not equipped with wheels stoppers and seat belts
- When getting on and off from a bus stop on a steep slope
- Baby strollers with three or more passengers cannot be used because safety cannot be ensured.
- Two-seater strollers with special shapes such as face-to-face type may not be able to board.
In addition, please note that we are not responsible for any damage or damage when the crew assists in lifting the stroller, etc. at your request.
