Last updated March 15, 2024
The Kohoku Ward symbol mark was established in May 1988 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Kohoku District Organization.
This mark uses the word "north" in Kohoku, and expresses the appearance of two birds working together and developing for the future.
In the enactment, based on the results of voting by the inhabitants of the ward decided from about 800 entries submitted from the entire city of Yokohama by the general public offering, the selection committee consisting of representatives of inhabitants of a ward.
The color of the symbol mark (main color) is green (green) that emphasizes the hearts and youthfulness of the inhabitants who love nature, worthy of Kohoku Ward, which continues to develop for the future.
