The "Ordinance on Prevention of Leaving Bicycles in Yokohama City" protects the proper use of bicycles and the order of use of bicycle parking lots, and for the creation of a more comfortable town, eliminates abandoned bicycles in front of stations and roads while cooperating together. It was enforced on October 1, 1985 for the purpose of this.

Let's cooperate with this ordinance as a whole citizen to avoid leaving bicycles and motorcycles. The important thing is the mind of the person who rides a bicycle. If there is a bicycle parking lot, be sure to use the bicycle parking lot.

• If bicycles are left in the no-parking area, move to a storage area. Also, please note that you will be moved if you have been left in a public place outside the prohibited area for more than 7 days.
• Signs and notices will be installed in areas where no-parking is prohibited, and the area, measures to be taken when moving, and conversion methods will be announced. In addition, impounded bicycles, etc., those with Address and name entered or registered with anti-crime program, will be notified to the owner by telephone.
• If the storage period has passed, Yokohama City will dispose of it.

• In order to receive a return of a moved abandoned bicycle, it is necessary to submit a return application, receipt form, and present a key or ID card.
• When picking up stored bicycles, etc., you will be responsible for the expenses required for moving as follows.

• The municipal bicycle parking lot in the no-parking area is operated for a fee to arrange a staff member, observe the order of use, and make the parking lot easier to use.
