Survey of new and renovated houses
For newly built, renovated and renovated houses, property tax and city planning tax will be levied on the building from the year following completion, but field surveys are being conducted to calculate the tax amount.
The staff in charge of the ward office Tax Division House who carried the “Fixed Asset Valuation Assistant Card” visited the survey, and installed materials used for the roof and outer walls of the house, interior of each room, and equipment such as electricity and water supply and drainage. As we confirm the installation situation, we would like understanding and cooperation about entering indoors.
Request for notification of extension / renovation / loss house
If a house (including a small house such as a garage or storeroom) is renovated or demolished, or the use is changed, the property tax and city planning tax of the building may be changed from the following fiscal year, so Tax Division Please contact the house charge (Tel: 045-540-2281, FAX: 045-540-2288).
In addition, mitigation measures are applied to residential premises such as houses and apartments. The calculation of property tax on land may change by demolishing houses and renovating stores into houses.

Conducted a simultaneous survey of houses
The Kohoku Ward Office conducts house surveys stipulated in the Local Tax Law to ensure fair taxation of property taxes.
This survey is conducted to determine the area sequentially every year, grasp new construction, extension, renovation, and demolition of all houses, and to match the current situation with taxation contents.In some cases, such as seeing you indoors may conduct internal surveys, such as seeing you.

Conducting house surveys using aerial photographs
Yokohama City conducts house surveys using aerial photographs in order to ensure fair taxation of property tax.
This survey is conducted every three years to understand new construction, extension, renovation, and demolition of all houses, and to match the current situation with taxation contents. In some cases, internal surveys may be conducted, such as looking indoors as necessary.
