About food hygiene manager
Business operators are required to appoint a food hygiene officer. If you do not have a qualified person, be sure to submit a report within 3 months after the business permit or notification.

If there is a qualified person
When applying for or submitting a business license, please present a document certifying your qualification at the counter. (Copy is acceptable)
When applying for or submitting a business license using the food hygiene application system (outside site), please attach a document proving your qualification.

If there is no qualified person
(one company) You can get a qualification by attending a training course held by the Yokohama City Food Sanitation Association. After obtaining the qualification, please notify us of your appointment as soon as possible. Be sure to submit a report within 3 months after business permission or notification.

Changes in Food Sanitation Officer
If the food hygiene manager is changed, please submit a notification of change at the counter.
There is no charge. A food hygiene officer's vote will be issued on the spot.
In addition, when you apply for or report a business license using the national system, please apply from the system (outside site) for food hygiene application.

・Notification of changes to business license application and business notification
The style can be obtained from the notification of change in the business license application matter or business notification items (outside site).
(It is also available at the counter.)
・Proof of qualification
・Previous Food Sanitation Officer's Card (collect it if it is at hand)
Re-grant of Food Sanitation Officers
If you lose or lose your food hygiene manager's card, please go to the counter for a reissue.
There is no charge. It will be reissued on the spot.

Food Sanitation Officer Seminar
If you are registered as food hygiene managers at food-related facilities such as restaurants and school lunch cafeterias, please regularly attend the food hygiene seminar (designated workshop) designated by the mayor or health center director.
