So-called "hardness surveys" have been occurring nationwide, pretending to be government statistical surveys (such as national census) and trying to find out information on households and offices by visiting, telephone, or e-mail.
If you feel suspicious, ask for your "Investigator's Card" or contact Statistics and Elections Section (045-788-7712, 045-788-7713).
