Last year, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, various activities such as local gatherings and events were carried out, and little by little, the bustle of the city has returned. In October, the Kanazawa Festival Ikiiki Festa was held for the first time in three years with the efforts and support of many people, including Neighborhood Association, Neighborhood Associations, various organizations and companies. I would like to thank you again.
In fiscal 2023, together with everyone who supports the Kanazawa Ward, including local communities, businesses and universities, we will work to further develop attractive Kanazawa Ward with the aim of realizing "Kanazawa, a town where we want to visit, live, and continue to live."
This year, we are looking forward to seeing many smiles through local gatherings and events, including the fireworks festivals that many people are looking forward to.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
(Kyoko Nagai, Director General)
This is my third year in Kanazawa Ward. With the support and cooperation of inhabitants of a ward, Deputy Director General, we will do our utmost to promote "community development through collaboration". Thank you very much for your cooperation.
(Deputy Director General Etsuo Kobayashi)
I have been working for Kanazawa Ward in my second year. This year, the COVID-19 pandemic is scheduled to be positioned as Class 5 in May, and it is possible that the impact on the mind and body due to COVID-19 self-restraint of COVID-19 will become apparent. Even in such a change, we will work on the promotion of community health and welfare with the staff so that local residents can continue to live in a healthy manner. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Kazushi Funayama, Chief of Health and Welfare Center
My name is Nakayama who has been transferred from Culture and Tourism Bureau. I am excited to be able to work in Kanazawa Ward, which has a long history, surrounded by nature and charm. We will work on promotion of community-based welfare while visiting the area and listening to the voices of everyone. If you look at your face, please call me. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Yoko Nakayama, General Manager, Health and Welfare Center
I was appointed Chief of Public Works Office Kanazawa in April. Kanazawa Ward has a relationship that was in charge of operations such as cliffs and base measures, and I would like to work on creating a town where residents can live safely and comfortably. Thank you.
(Mr. Nobuichi Kato, Chief of Public Works Office)
