About painting volunteer of park facility

The Yokohama City Paint Business Cooperative and Yokohama City have concluded an "Agreement on Painting of Park Facilities" and have the union cooperate in painting work such as park playground equipment in each ward free of charge every year. Due to this CSR activity (social contribution activity), which began in 2008, the number of parks in the city that had been repainted reached a total of 536 parks in 2024.
Examples of implementation in Kanazawa Ward
In the management of the park, regular painting of facilities is essential. Painted park facilities lead to improved safety and longer life of the facilities. In addition, the park becomes a brighter and more comfortable space by repainting playground equipment etc. neatly.
