About the distribution of sandbags

As an emergency assistance to ordinary households, Kanazawa Public Works Office distributes sandbags to prevent water flow from roads and river waterways.

Distribution Location: Public Works Office Kanazawa (1-9-26 Teramae, Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama) ※We do not deliveries.
Distribution target: General households in Kanazawa Ward

Distribution quantity: Up to 5 bags per household.

※If you can pack sand at our office, please come by car, etc., as it will be about 20 kg per bag.

Date of distribution: In case of emergency (when heavy rain warnings are issued in Yokohama city), we will respond at any time.

※In principle, please take measures in advance by yourself. If you are unable to take any measures in advance, please contact Kanazawa Public Works Office.

The distribution in Public Works Office is only supplementary. In principle, please prepare the necessary "sandbags" in each household in principle.

We do not deliveries to each household. It will be delivered at Kanazawa Public Works Office.

It is also possible to pack sandbags in the Kanazawa Public Works Office.
When stuffed with sand, the sandbag is about 20 kg per bag. In that case, please come by private car.

Store and dispose of the sandbags after use by yourself.
