1 What is the Kanazawa Ward Social Activities Support Subsidy?

The Kanazawa Ward grants subsidies to support the voluntary activities of residents who aim to revitalize local communities and create rich communities.

2 What kind of group is eligible?

In principle, organizations that meet all of the following requirements:

5 or more members of the group, at least half of them live, work, or attend school in Kanazawa Ward.
The presence of organizations and representatives must be clear.
Being an organization that has not received this subsidy three or more times in the past

3 What are the activities?

In Kanazawa Ward, this project is an independent and continuous activity that contributes to the creation of a rich community, and can be confirmed to be different from the purpose of establishment of the organization.

Target businesses
（１） Business aimed at fostering healthy youth （２） Projects aimed at promoting international exchange （３） Projects aimed at promoting cultural and artistic activities （４） Business aimed at promoting environmental conservation (excluding community cleanup activities) （５） Business aimed at child-rearing support （６） Planning and operation of lifelong learning courses (in principle, three or more times a year, about 2 hours at a time)

However, the following businesses are excluded.

Non-targeted businesses
（１） Projects that receive financial assistance such as subsidies and subsidies in the relevant fiscal year, such as Yokohama City, Kanazawa Ward, and Yokohama. （２） Business aimed at politics, religion, and profit （３） Businesses that are intended only for members of a specific organization, or businesses that can effectively participate. （４） Business that guides the acquisition of qualifications and licenses, and advertise and solicit specific schools and organizations （５） Businesses that may harm public interest （６） Other businesses deemed inappropriate by Director General

What is the contents of the subsidy?

Subsidy amount is limited to 4/5 of the subsidized expenses and 300,000 yen (150,000 yen for lifelong learning courses).
In units of 1,000 yen, less than 1,000 yen are rounded down. Subsidization rate for the second and subsequent times will be 1/2.

What are the costs?

Subsidies cannot be used for any expenses related to the subsidized projects.
Operating expenses such as daily activities of the group are not eligible for subsidies.

Covered expenses
（１） Rewards (excluding those who are free to participate in the project) （２） Travel expenses （３） Consumables (used only for business purposes) （４） Food expenses (teacher's tea fee, etc.) （５） Printing and bookbinding expenses （６） Transportation and transportation costs （７） Outsourcing costs (site construction and transportation of materials) （８） Usage fees (e.g., venue usage fees, etc.)

6 Application period and application method

From Thursday, January 4, 1961 to Wednesday, January 31, 　※Please submit it to Hours.
If you are applying for the first time, please be sure to attend the following briefing session.

Venue: Meeting room 2 on the 6th floor of Kanazawa Ward Office
Please write required items on the prescribed application form and bring it to the ward office Regional Promotion Division (601 on the 6th floor) with required documents by the designated date.

7 Determination of grant

About application business, Director General decides based on opinion of Kanazawa Ward social movement support subsidy Exploratory Committee (consisting of outside committee).
In addition, as a result of examination, the amount of assistance may be reduced or may not be issued.

We send grant decision letter of advice or non-grant decision letter to application group based on result of examination. Please submit an invoice when you receive the grant decision notice.

8 When the business is completed

If the subsidized project is completed, please report within one month with the prescribed documents.

※If the actual subsidized expenses are less than the original budget amount, you will have to return the difference from the subsidy issued.
