Specialized consultation for young people

The Kanazawa Ward Office provides professional consultation for young people twice a month.
We are consulting about a variety of issues, such as truancy and withdrawal.
We will work together while valuing the feelings of the person and family.

◎Target person 15 years old to 39 years old living in Yokohama and their families (supporters and local people can also consult.)
◎Consultation date In principle, afternoon of the 1st and 3rd Friday afternoon (one consultation time is 50 minutes)

◎Counselor Yokohama Southern Youth Plaza "Regional Cooperation Counselor" (social worker, etc.) is accepted.

Hiki Komoriya We provide support to young people and their families through telephone consultations, visit consultations, group activities and family study sessions, etc., regarding various problems faced by young people and their families, such as school refusal.

※We also provide consultation and support as the "Hikikomori Community Support Center" for childhood and adulthood through the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Hikikomori Community Support Center" for childhood and adulthood.

What is Community Youth Plaza?
It is a youth independence support organization that Yokohama City has set up four locations for each area in Yokohama City.
(1)General consultation for young people, such as withdrawal
(2)Operation of a place for young people who are recovering from withdrawal
(3)Implementation of social experience and work experience programs
(4)Networking with local related organizations and ward offices
(5)Training and dispatch of support partners
Through these functions, we support youth's independence through community-based activities.
