Rehabilitation class
Rehabilitation classes are held for those who have sequelae such as cerebrovascular disease to promote independence and social participation in daily life.
Those who can go to rehabilitation classes
①Those who live in Kanazawa Ward and are generally between 40 and 65 years old.
②Those who have sequelae such as cerebrovascular disease and have just developed symptoms.
※Participation fee is free.
Activity Date
Every Wednesday from 13:00 to 15:00
In principle, the term of office is one year.
Activity site
Live Up Kanazawa, a community activity center for people with disabilities (1-14-10 Teramae, Kanazawa-ku)
Details of implementation
Language rehabilitation, bus ride training, friendship and exchange, recurrence prevention classes, sports, gymnastics, etc.
Perform social rehabilitation through a one-year program.
Application method
Please contact the Kanazawa Ward Office (402 on the 4th floor) or by telephone. To confirm the situation, etc.
Public health nurses may visit you.
※Please apply after obtaining your consent from family doctor.
Activity Center
It is a transit facility where people with sequelae such as cerebrovascular disease, aim for independent living and social participation in the community through life training and creative activities.
(It is also possible to move from the rehabilitation classroom according to the living conditions and physical condition of the person and family.)
Those who can go to the activity center
①Those who live in Kanazawa Ward and have sequelae such as cerebrovascular disease and are generally between 40 and 65 years old.
②Those who are independent and have a willingness to work independently.
※A monthly fee of 1500 yen will be charged.

Monday to Friday 10:00 to 15:30
※Closed days: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, New Year's holidays, summer vacation

Activities
Light work: Basket making, cloth sleigh, posting, etc.
Special activities: Picture letter classroom, computer classroom, music day, recurrence prevention classroom, etc.
Recreation: Walks, bus trips, Christmas parties, year-end parties, etc.
Regional exchange: Bazaars, exchange meetings with elementary, junior high and high schools
Kanazawa Ward Disability Voluntary Group
The voluntary group is a group in which mid-career disabilities voluntarily work in the community, and after graduating from the Community Center for the Disabled, it has become one of the places for social participation. Aiming for a bright, lively and independent life despite various problems, we are working with volunteers, including local people.
Even those who have never used the activity center, rehabilitation classroom, etc. can participate in the voluntary activity group.
