Kazumi Ishiwata (Professor Emeritus, Toyo Eiwa University)
He has been involved in the employment of persons with disabilities and consultation on welfare services for 10 years at rehabilitation centers in Saitama and Yokohama.
After that, he was in charge of "Welfare for Persons with Disabilities" and "Human Rights" at Toyo Eiwa University and others.
In 1997, he became an ombudsman of the Shonan Fukushi Network and was involved in advocacy activities such as persons with disabilities, the elderly, and the elementary school student.
He served as the verification chair of the Tsukui Yamayurien incident that occurred in Sagamihara City in July 2016.
We continue to consider support to eliminate abuse and discrimination of persons with disabilities, and how communities should be.
