About emergency information system (5Co Voice)

Yokohama City is working together with local communities and companies to create an attractive city where everyone can feel "connection" and continue to live safely and with peace of mind, in order to realize an environmental future city. .
In collaboration with local communities and companies, Kanazawa Ward has introduced an "emergency information system" with the aim of improving the safety andNeighborhood Association residents.

Purpose of introduction

  • As an environmental future city, it is possible to efficiently transmit and collect information that can respond to an aging society.
  • Provide necessary information promptly and reliably to the chairman of each Neighborhood Association town in the event of a disaster, etc., and to quickly consolidate the situation
  • After Typhoon No. 19 in 2014, a request was sent directly to each Neighborhood Association town chairman.

Characteristics of the system

Feature 1) Simultaneous transmission
Information is transmitted simultaneously to those who do not use e-mail or the Internet by using telephone, which is a familiar means of transmitting information (no special equipment or operation is required) (automatically redirection when absent)

Features 2) Simultaneous aggregation
In addition to sending out messages, various types of information from recipients can be grasped and aggregated (information content transmitted from the system can be freely set).

Features 3) Realized through collaboration
Based on the e-Mother and Child Handbook System, which was highly regarded by the World Bank’s hackathon (an event to build apps and services in a short time), hosted by the World Bank.

System construction through collaboration

*Btrend Co., Ltd. (President: Hideaki Inoue) is in charge of system construction, management, maintenance and maintenance as a partner company of the proposer.

  • Became a global finalist (10 teams) at the World Congress of the World Disaster Prevention reduce disaster damage Hackathon(*) hosted by the World Bank (August 2014), and also participated in the final round of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Climate CoLab Contest (November 2014).
  • 137 Co., Ltd., the inventor of this system and was founded by graduates of the Graduate School of Business Concept, and Kanazawa Ward, which actively promotes ICT utilization, concluded a collaboration agreement based on the Yokohama City Citizen Collaboration Ordinance (October 2014).
  • This system will be implemented as soon as possible through collaboration between proposers with high planning, proposal, and technical skills, and the ward office working on solving regional issues such as disaster prevention.
