Kanagawa area support subsidy

Kanagawa Ward has the "Kanagawa Regional Support Subsidy" that supports efforts to improve the city where local residents live.
We support businesses newly launched by various local actors and businesses aimed at solving local issues by residents.
When application is hoped for, please confirm subsidy grant summary, offer essential point.

Projects subject to assistance

Efforts that can be expected to solve local issues or appeal, and fall under any of the following
①Initiatives to be started to realize the Action Plan submitted at community development University.
②Initiatives to start newly in the area

A project that connects new leaders with local activities based on residents' questionnaires to expand the base of local human resources

Subsidized groups

A group of two or more graduates of Kanagawa Ward community development University (At least one of them is within three years of graduation (*)).

Application method

○When applying for a subsidy, please consult with Ward Administration Promotion Division Planning and Adjustment Section in advance, as we will check the requirements and business plan of the organization.
○Please submit the following documents to Ward Administration Promotion Division, Kanagawa Ward Office (502, 5th floor of the main building). (Mail and email are acceptable)
※In the case of submission by e-mail, after receiving the submitted documents, we will contact the representative or contact person by telephone to confirm your identity.

Points to write business applications and plans

(1)Is it a proposal for an activity that captures and resolve local issues?
(2)Do you have any advanced or pioneering ideas and ideas?
(3)Regarding the organizational structure, is there a number of people and systems that are appropriate for the business?
(4)Is there a possibility that activities will continue to expand in the future?

Points to write a business budget book

 Based on the application documents, the examination committee members evaluate the contents of the business, etc. and decides on grant.

 Based on the application documents, the examination committee members evaluate the organizational structure and business plan, etc., and decide on grant.  

※The grant is determined within the budget, so as a result of the examination, it may not be eligible for grant as a result of examination.

  • For profit purposes
  • Politics, religion, and election activities
  • Construction and maintenance of facilities
  • Policy proposal
  • Fellowships

Precautions

  • Organizations wishing to continue applying for subsidies must undergo an application procedure every year.
  • Projects that are subsidized or subsidized by the Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama City and the Japan National Council of Social Welfare cannot apply for this project.
  • Submitted documents will not be returned.
  • In this project, if other subsidies can be used, it will be given priority and you will not be able to apply for this project.
    (Example: Disaster Prevention Initiatives → “community support Promotion Project”)
  • After grant decision about group targeted for assistance, we publish business name, group name, business summary on HP (this page) of ward.

※ This project is based on the assumption that the fiscal 2024 budget will be approved by the Yokohama City Council.
