Event Overview
Students will learn male (cane) hula dance in five consecutive courses from a city teacher registered in the Kanagawa Ward Residents' Aid BANK, a human resource registration system of the Kanagawa Ward Ward Residents Support Center. In addition, this course, which supports the first step of local activities, will form a male hula dance team after the course, aiming to play an active part in the community.

Former director of Nishi fire department, Yokohama. He retired from City of Yokohama, Fire Bureau two years ago and now works for the Japan Fire Association. When I was 36 years old, I was invited by a male hula and enthusiastic! In 1998, he participated in the Hawaii King Kamehamehafla Tournament and finished third.
The Oyaji Fla team "Nagisa Boys" formed by fathers who met in the kindergarten of children became very popular at festivals and events mainly in the local Zushi area, and is still active energetically even after more than 20 years!
