Nice to meet you in Izumi Ward.
I am Atsuko Fukagawa, who became mayor of Izumi on April 1.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Until now, the ward office has worked in five wards, mainly in the welfare and hygiene fields. This is my first visit to Izumi Ward. I've been looking forward to seeing you in the community.

Izumi Ward is a natural city full of water and greenery. The farmland area boasts the top in the city and is a very attractive ward where you can fulfill slow life in Yokohama. On the other hand, there are many potentials, such as direct operation of Sotetsu and JR has begun, making access to Tokyo more convenient. Above all, we value the connection between people and say that it is an area where you can feel the warmth.

I am very pleased to work in such attractive Izumi Ward.
Together with the inhabitants of the ward, we will promote the creation of attractive and energetic Izumi Ward that will continue until the next generation.
