Last Updated December 11, 2023

Since fiscal 2009, the Izumi Ward Office has been implementing a three-year plan to reduce the heat island phenomenon and foster healthy children, with the aim of suppressing the heat island phenomenon and fostering healthy children. In addition, since 2012, each school has been striving for proper maintenance.

Izumi Ward promotes lawn conversion is the Tottori method (pot seedling method), in which pot seedlings of Tifton 419, a lawn with strong growth and resilience, are planted at 50 cm intervals.
