Last update date April 4, 2023

Impact of smoking on the body

Tobacco contains more than 200 harmful substances, and smoking is a serious illness such as "cancer", "chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)" and "heart and vascular disorders (myocardial infarction and angina)". It is said to be related. The effects of smoking occur not only to smokers but also to others around them (passive smoking).

Smoking can cause cancer, stroke, periodontal disease, COPD, tuberculosis, ischemic heart disease, arteriosclerosis, diabetes, etc.

COPD is a disease in which lung function is impaired and causes dyspnea. Smoking cessation can prevent the onset and progression.

Be careful of heated cigarettes

The mainstream smoke of heated tobacco also contains nicotine and carcinogens, which contaminates the surrounding air.

Although it is less than cigarettes, heated tobacco smoke also contains nicotine and carcinogens.
