Isogo Ward symbol mark (established on October 29, 1983)

Isogo Ward symbol

This symbol mark is selected from works solicited from inhabitants of a ward to become a symbol of exchange and solidarity among inhabitants of a ward.
Isogo Ward's initial letter "I" was symbolized by hiragana and Roman letters "i". It designed the sun for the waves and the future so that it is suitable for a ward adjacent to the sea.

In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the ward administration, when we raised design marks of flower "cosmos" of ward and tree "ume" of ward, we received 111 applications from inhabitants of a ward. From a number of wonderful works, we adopted works that image the harmony of people and harmony with nature. The selected works were corrected by adding characters by experts, and the design mark was made. In addition, at the ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of the ward administration, the design mark was announced and excellent works were commended.

The circle of people is expressed in a circle. It expresses the sea, mountains and the earth in the image of Bairin and Mt. Enkai in Sugita.

Cosmos is a gentle flower, so it is drawn with the image of two cosmos talking gently.

In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the ward administration, we received 69 entries for the lyrics of image songs that sang the charm of Isogo Ward.
George Yamashita, who lives in the city, composed the best work, and Koji Tatsuzaki arranged the arrangement, and a wonderful song was created that anyone from children to the elderly could easily hum.
