Traffic safety measures

In Isogo Ward, with the aim of creating a safe, secure and livable city without traffic accidents, we will continue to promote awareness-raising activities in cooperation with the Isogo police department and the Isogo Traffic Safety Association so that each inhabitant of the ward complies with traffic rules and correctly understands traffic manners.

Traffic safety classes

As a "Everywhere Outing Ward Office Course", we carry out classrooms that learn traffic rules, walk safely, and practice practical skills on how to ride a bicycle correctly according to age.

・Infant traffic safety class (kindergartens and nursery schools where target children in the city are enrolled)
・elementary school student Traffic Safety Class (16 elementary schools in the ward * In addition to regular walking and bicycle classes every three years, we conduct “Hamako Traffic Safety Classes” including involving experiments and collision experiments.)
・Traffic safety awareness for the elderly (such as the Federation of Isogo Ward Elderly Clubs)
・Traffic safety awareness (Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations in the ward, facilities in the ward, etc.)

School zone countermeasures council

The school zone countermeasures council organized at each elementary school play an important role in implementing traffic safety measures in the school zone.

1 Schedule adjustment of the date

When holding the council, please submit "School Zone Countermeasures Council Holding Request" and "School Zone Countermeasures Council Chairman Change Investigation / Grant Person Contact".

2 Submission of Request Form

Please submit one copy of "Request Form" to each relevant organization for each requested location to confirm the site and consider countermeasures.
・Submission deadline: Up to 4 weeks prior to the meeting (in the case of writing, until mid-July)

3 Submission of detailed diagrams

For requests for repair and new construction of school zone road markings, please submit the "Detailed Map" together.

Isogo Ward School Zone Promotion Organization Grant

In order to foster voluntary activities in the community to prevent traffic accidents in school zones in Isogo Ward, the grant is made up of representatives from PTA, Neighborhood Association Neighborhood AssociationsIsogo Ward, youth groups and others. The maximum amount of the grant is 20,000 yen per group per year, and the amount of the grant is determined by examining the submitted documents.

1 Application for grant

Organizations wishing to receive a grant should submit the following documents:

2. Billing

We examine documents of meeting which made grant application and send grant decision letter of advice (fourth style) or non-grant decision letter of advice (fifth style). Council which received grant decision letter of advice (fourth style), please submit the next documents immediately.

3 Activity Report

The subsidized council should submit the following documents immediately after the activity ends.
