Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1974. He was diagnosed with juvenile Alzheimer's dementia in 2013, who was active as the top salesman at Nets Toyota Sendai. After the diagnosis, he transferred from sales to clerical work and continued to work, and now he is working to spread social understanding of dementia. Since 2015, he opened a general consultation service for people with dementia, "Orenji Door" for people with dementia, and is a representative of the executive committee. He is focusing on activities that talk about his own experiences. He has authored "Society Society Seeing from Me with Dementia" and "Tomofumi Tanno Living with Dementia".
