"Asahi (Asahi) is placed in the upper center of the center, and the sprouts that grow quickly in response to the light are stylized in YOKOHAMA's "Y" character. As a general rule, colors are based on "green", and white backgrounds and violet parts are inverted.

Nishimura, a designer, is a company employee working at Matsushita Tsushin Kogyo in Midori Ward, where he designs telecommunications products such as telephones, wireless and broadcasting equipment and audio products. He said he was studying design-related when he was a student, so he can be said to be a professional in design. I just moved to Asahi Ward in August last year from Komae, Tokyo to Wakabadai 2-chome. When making the symbol mark, he said, "I only rely on the name Asahi and the impression that there is a lot of greenery," but that seems to have been fortunate to create the image of Asahi Ward.

In the future, the ward will seize various opportunities and promote this symbol mark. First of all, on February 20, a presentation will be held on the seat of the famous song appreciation party (admission tickets have been distributed). We will continue to introduce the symbol mark at events such as the Asahi Ward Sports Festival and the Asahi Ward Cultural Festival. Please use this mark in case of any occasion.
