Background and Purpose of Initiatives

　Since the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition (GREEN × EXPO 2027) (hereinafter referred to as “GREEN × EXPO 2027”) will be held at the former Kami Seya Communication Facility across Asahi Ward and Seya Ward, Asahi Ward has been conducting various initiatives since fiscal 2020 to enhance momentum as a local district.
　In particular, as an opportunity to directly inform participants of the holding of GREEN x EXPO 2027, we held parent-child participation events, conducted quizzes for GREEN x EXPO 2027, made can badges, distributed flyers, etc. I have been.
　In the future, in order to raise expectations for GREEN x EXPO 2027, we will publicize through events that are familiar with flowers and greenery. Therefore, a new workshop-type event will be held to raise expectations for GREEN x EXPO 2027, and a flat art work will be created using what was created by the participants at the event. The art works will be exhibited in a temporary enclosure for the construction of the Tsurugamine Station platform on the Sotetsu Line as a promotion tool that allows everyone who uses the Sotetsu Line to increase their expectations for GREEN × EXPO 2027, and will expand public relations not only to Asahi Ward residents but also to railway users.
　This project will be co-hosted by the Asahi Ward Office.
