For elementary school students, we hold hands-on events to deepen their interest in natural science.

Exciting! I'm excited! Let's do a free study of science! Crafts that can be enjoyed by parents and children and wind power vehicles running toward the wind!
We will hold an experimental class that is perfect for free research during summer vacation.
It is scheduled to be held in two courses: a course for first to third graders and a course for 4th to 6th graders. Please feel free to join us.

[Course for 1st to 3rd graders]
Date and time: From 10:15 to 12:00 on Thursday, August 15, 2024
Location: Asahi Ward Citizens' Activities Support Center
Contents: I'm looking forward to making it with parents and children! Easy work!
Target: Elementary school students (1st to 3rd grade) and parents living in Asahi Ward
　　　One application, up to one elementary school studenｔ and one adult.
Capacity: 10 groups of 20 people (If there are many applications, lottery will be conducted.)
Belongings: Writing utensils, cellophane tape, staples

[Course for 4th to 6th graders]
Date and time: From Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 13:30 to 15:30
Location: Asahi Ward Citizens' Activities Support Center
Contents: Running towards the wind! Wind-powered vehicles
　　　You will learn how it works through the construction of wind trucks that run toward the wind.
Target: Elementary school students (4th to 6th graders) living in Asahi Ward
　　　One application, up to one elementary school studenｔ. (Parents must be accompanied by a guardian.)
Capacity: 20 (If there are a large number of applicants, a lottery will be held.)
Belongings: Writing utensils, scissors, 500ml empty plastic bottles (carbonated beverages)

Participation fee: 500 yen (we will collect on the day of the event.)
