Special ride certificate

Take the municipal bus, municipal subway, Kanazawa Seaside Line, and the section of the private bus that crosses the city and the section of the private bus that crosses the city and the city border (if you get on and off outside the city, the reverse is also possible.) We issue a special elderly ride certificate to those who wish to 70 years or older.

How to apply for a Special Ride Certificate for the Elderly
Person living in ward1. Confirmation of hope
Approximately two months before the 70th birthday month, the ward office will mail a notice to confirm whether or not you wish.
If you wish to receive it, please return the enclosed application form.
2. Sending payment slip (for free people)
To the person who returned the application form (the person who wishes) will receive a payment slip (a voucher for free people) with the amount of contribution entered the month before the birth month from the ward office.
3. Payment of partial co-payment and receipt of special elderly ride certificate
A person with a contributionBring the mailed payment slip and pay the contribution at the nearest city post office, and at the same time the post office staff will give you a boarding certificate.
A person without contributionIf you bring your voucher to your local city post office or ward office, you will be given a boarding certificate on the spot.
People who have been transferred from outside the cityAfter the transfer date, please bring something that can confirm your date of birth (health insurance card, license, etc.) and come to the counter. Family members can also apply for it.

Partial co-payment

The Keiro Ride Certificate will be switched from October 1 every year.
Please pay a part of the cost depending on the taxation status of the municipal tax as one year from October 1 to September 30 the following year.
In addition, some contributions will be changed from October 1, 2011. For more information, please refer to the Keiro Special Ride Certificate (page of City of Yokohama, Health and Social Welfare Bureau).
