Standing Committee / City Counsil Steering Committee / Special Committee
Since it is not efficient to discuss all bills at the plenary session in detail, eight standing committees have been set up for each jurisdiction of the city's executive body to examine bills, petition, petition, etc. . This is the Standing Committee.
Members of the Diet belong to one committee in principle, and the term of each committee is one year, and each committee has one chair and two vice chairs.
During the closing of the City Counsil (except during the session), the Standing Committee conducts a variety of activities, including research and research on the projects of the relevant bureaus.

The City Counsil Steering Committee has been established as a forum for coordinating the opinions of each denomination, and representatives of each denomination (5 or more members) discuss various matters related to the operation of the City Counsil.
We also examine bills related to the City Counsil ordinance, petition and petition. The term of committee members is one year and the fixed number is 16, with one chairperson, two vice chairpersons, and one director of each negotiating party.

The Special Committee is a committee established as necessary to examine, investigate, or study the case (specific issues of municipal administration determined by the resolution of the City Counsil).
Currently, seven special committees have been set up, and the special committee exchanges opinions among committee members, inspects case studies, and listens to witnesses for the purpose of investigating and researching cases.
In addition, it is customary that the Budget First and Budget Second Special Committees and the Settlement First and Settlement Second Special Committees are set up every year to review the initial budget and settlement of accounts.
