Of the 9,733 municipal junior high school students who applied for the contest at the Junior High School school lunch Menu Competition Awards Ceremony, 10 people who received the Excellence Award and their parents were given congratulations and awards.
I was eager to study nutrition, use vegetables from Yokohama city, and I was thrilled with only a delicious menu full of ideas. Part of the award-winning menu will be offered as school lunch in FY2024. Like the menu designed by junior high school students, we will continue to work toward becoming an exciting junior high school school lunch.
