We exchanged opinions on decarbonization of ports with Yenz Meyer, CEO of the port manager of Hamburg, a sister port of Yokohama Port, leading the European region in the environmental field and is promoting advanced initiatives.
It was confirmed that the two ports would continue to cooperate with each other, including sharing information on the formation of a hydrogen import and supply base for hydrogen and other products in Europe.
They also visited HafenCity, one of the largest waterfront area in Europe. We will make use of our efforts to improve the brand image of the city by preserving and utilizing historical buildings in the formation of attractive urban spaces in the city.
