Ibaraki Prefecture and Yokohama City have concluded an agreement to cooperate with ports in Ibaraki Prefecture and Yokohama Port with the aim of addressing social issues such as revitalization of industries and regions, reduction of environmental impact, and reduction of working population.
With the conclusion of this agreement, we will accelerate our efforts to realize carbon neutral ports, promote the attraction and acceptance of cruise ships by strengthening our maritime transportation network, and enhance our international competitiveness as a port chosen by the world.
