In Yokohama City, as part of the GIGA School, we are promoting "Yokohama Anywhere Study" where children who cannot go to school for various reasons can study online. At Izumigaoka Junior High School, which I visited this time, I was able to observe how the children used ICT to work lively with their friends. .
This year, as a measure to support online classes, we have set up a supplementary budget of about 800 million yen in order to install cameras, microphones, projectors, etc. at all municipal elementary and junior high schools. Going forward, we will continue to foster the next generation who will lead the future of Yokohama.
